Scholarships Awarded
The Scholarship Committee, composed of the Board of Directors at Southeast Lineman Training Center, shall administer the Scholarship Fund, including coordination with the staff of Southeast Lineman Training Center. The Scholarship Committee will disseminate the scholarship publicity, applications and conduct screenings of the applicants.
The candidate needs to submit a letter of recommendation from 3 references (personal, academic, or professional).
The candidate needs to write a letter to the Scholarship Committee on why they should be selected to receive the scholarship.
The candidate must have an active ELP or CLP Program Application with SLTC.
Once awarded the recipient has 12 months to use the scholarship fund.
The money for the scholarships is approved each year by the Southeast Lineman Training Center Board of Directors.
The Scholarship Award shall be applied towards tuition and tools.
The Scholarship Award check shall be made payable to Southeast Lineman Training Center in the scholarship winner’s name.
The Scholarship Committee will submit a proposal annually regarding the number and the dollar amount of the scholarships for approval by Southeast Lineman Training Center owners.
2025 will consist of five $5,000 awards.
The Lineman Country scholarship application period for 2025 is January 1st, 2025 through April 11, 2025.
Southeast Lineman Training Center shall be held harmless for any accident, illness, or injury incurred while the student is under the limited scholarship funding. A statement to this effect shall be signed by the student prior to receipt of the award.
